Deal Technologies Group (DTG) is an industrial group established through the integration of Rizzani de Eccher’s expertise in bridge construction with its specialized companies – DEAL, TENSA, and SPIC – and their respective international subsidiaries in Algeria, Australia, Canada, India, Mexico, Romania, and the United States.
As part of our corporate plan for developing internal specialized resources, we are launching a training program dedicated to young technicians who wish to acquire hands-on skills in the assembly and launching of precast bridge segments for bridges, viaducts, and elevated structures.
A university degree is not required — what truly matters is motivation, willingness to learn, and a hands-on attitude .
Selected candidates will receive on-site training at our location in Surrey (Canada) , with the goal of becoming part of our specialized operational team working with launching girders and dedicated lifting systems.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
During the training period, the candidate will be involved in the following activities:
- Support assembly operations and the use of launching girders and related equipment.
- Participate in the installation of bridge spans and assembly of precast segments .
- Assist with stressing, alignment, and geometric control of segments.
- Collaborate with site personnel to monitor operations , ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Learn operating procedures for launching girders and lifting equipment.
- Support field data collection and preparation of progress reports .
- Take part in technical and HSE training courses and sessions included in the program.
As experience grows, participants will be trained to:
- Lead the daily start-up meeting and relevant safety toolbox meeting .
- Ensure all personnel understand and follow safety requirements.
- Organize, coordinate, and supervise foremen and crews to achieve daily production targets.
- Enforce compliance with company procedures and work methods.
- Minimize downtime and waste , improving operational efficiency.
- Liaise with the production team to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity .
Requirements and Skills
Minimum:
- Technical diploma or equivalent
- Basic construction site experience.
- Good knowledge of English (necessary for operational communication).
- Teamwork attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in an international environment.
- Availability for international mobility.
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, lifting equipment, or hydraulic systems,
- Reading and comprehension of equipment and bridge drawings.
- Valid driver’s license.
