Job Description:
- Gather and document business requirements for payment processing systems.
- Analyze and map ISO 20022 messages (pain, pacs, camt series) and their field-level details.
- Work on payment initiation, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure accurate implementation of message formats.
- Perform gap analysis between existing systems and ISO standards.
- Support migration projects from legacy formats (SWIFT MT) to ISO 20022.
- Validate message structures and conduct data field-level analysis for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare functional specifications, use cases, and test scenarios.
- Liaise with external vendors, clearing houses, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 message types (pain.001, pacs.008, camt.053, etc.).
- Ability to interpret message schemas (XSD) and field-level attributes.
- Familiarity with SWIFT MT messages and migration to ISO 20022.
- Understanding of payment systems (RTGS, ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, Fedwire).
- Experience in business analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with payment modernization projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (AML, KYC, PSD2).
- Exposure to API-based payment integrations.
