This is a 3 month contract located in Quebec City (Onsite)
Must have car to travel to different sites!
This position requires a candidate who is bilingual in English & French.
Responsibilities:
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks
• Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Basic tasks:
• Deskside software support
• High end printer and multi-function laser component level repair
• Server component level hardware repair and software restore
• Network device replacement/ configuration
• Basic network troubleshooting
• Smart Hands
Qualifications:
• Requires experience in the field or in a related area; familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Able to perform call-management in a Real-Time-Reporting environment
• Able to work independently & with limited supervision
• Excellent verbal & written skills
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Is this position remote or in person? Field technician (on the road)
• What are the TOP 2 required skills that candidates must have? Need solid experience with laptop, desktop and printers repairs. Must have valid driver license and personal car to work with.
• How many miles per day will the contractor be driving? Varies from day to day, will cover greater Quebec City area, sometimes the tech can work locally and sometimes will go out of area 1:30 drive.
