Baka Pozd Business Consultancy, a trusted provider of business and financial advisory services, is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a technology-focused professional who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and ensuring reliable IT systems in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and office IT equipment
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and applications
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and resolve them promptly
Manage user accounts, email systems, and access permissions
Monitor system performance, data backups, and IT security measures
Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and technical documentation
Support remote users and assist with video conferencing and collaboration tools
Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required
Implement IT policies, updates, and basic cybersecurity practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
2 4 years of experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS environments and basic networking concepts
Experience with troubleshooting office software, email systems, and hardware
Understanding of IT security principles and data protection practices
Good problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
