*Job description*
We are a mid-size personal injury law office located in Etobicoke. We are looking for a Personal Injury Lawyer with experience in personal injury matters, Accident Benefits and Tort.
This position requires *a minimum of 3-6 years experience.*
*Must have experience in conducting numerous case conferences, motions, discoveries, mediations and hearings.*
*Responsibilities:*
* Handling work proactively on file from intake to resolution
* Completing forms and preparing summaries, applications and settlement proposals
* Preparing pleadings, motions records, mediation memos, pre-trial memo, etc.
* Negotiate settlements
* Knowledge of LAT process
* Conducting Examinations for Discovery
* Effectively track denials, deadlines and timelines
*Requirements:*
* 3-6 years of personal injury experience *(Must)*
* Lawyer (L1 license)
* Knowledge of SABS and Rules of Civil Procedure
* Experience handling files from beginning to end
* Experience in settling claims
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail
