We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take digital radiographs as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations within the practice.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply
Proficiency in using Abeldent or similar dental software systems is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is required.
