Our client is currently looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis to join their growing team in the Halifax area.
What we offer:
- Reporting to: General Manager
- Work Hours: Flexible schedule. Day time hours, Monday to Friday + evenings & weekends as needed
- Hourly Rate: $80,000 -$90,000/year
- Permanent Full time, with benefits - 100% Employer paid benefits, Vehicle, Gas, Phone and profit sharing
- Relocation costs within Canada may be considered for candidates with industry experience
What you'll do:
- Carry out onsite repairs at various car wash locations in the HRM with occasional trips to PEI when necessary
- Complete regular checks on equipment according to weekly/monthly/annual schedules
- Prioritize repairs on car wash equipment to reduce downtime
- Aid in the installation of new car wash equipment
- Work with contractors when required
- Assist with training team members on repairs and maintenance procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Must have a Class 5 License with a clear driver's abstract
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair, including plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
- Previous experience as an electrician, plumber, superintendent, or millwright. A red real certificate or diploma is an asset.
- Strong communication, team-focused attitude with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Flexible to travel between locations
