An established Nova Scotia-based operation is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic with hands-on experience working with tracked vehicles and recreational gas-powered equipment (4x4s, side-by-sides/ATVs, snowmobiles). This role is based out of Windsor, Nova Scotia
This is a unique opportunity to work on a diverse fleet — from heavy tracked machinery to smaller recreational vehicles — in a stable, safety-focused environment.
What You’ll Do
✔ Diagnose, inspect, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and related components
✔ Service and maintain gasoline-powered recreational vehicles (engine, mechanical & electrical troubleshooting)
✔ Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
✔ Read and apply technical manuals and schematics
✔ Maintain accurate service and repair records
✔ Work safely in shop and outdoor environments
What We’re Looking For
🔹 Experience as a Heavy Diesel or Heavy-Duty Mechanic
🔹 Hands-on work with tracked vehicles and small gas engines
🔹 Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
🔹 Valid driver’s licence
