The Associate Master Data Specialist (AMDS) plays a critical role within Global Master Data Operations (GMDO) , supporting a global Product & Supply Chain organization. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality master data that enables efficient supply chain and manufacturing operations and supports the reliable delivery of medicines to patients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end master data maintenance, including data collection, validation, cleansing, and mass updates across multiple systems
- Ensure “right-first-time” data quality by performing required checks and parameter validation
- Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational timelines
- Identify data issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution
- Audit and reconcile data using IDQ and Veeva, ensuring data accuracy and synchronization
- Contribute to master data standards, templates, and governance processes
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, automation/RPA)
- Assist with training documentation and onboarding of new team members
- Collaborate closely with global supply chain, manufacturing, and IT stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma with equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in master data management, supply chain planning, or operations
- Experience working in global Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain processes (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with SAP (MM, PP, SD, QM, APO, TM, EWM, OMP preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel)
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

- Experience with MDG-M and/or S/4HANA
- German language proficiency
