Due to our rapid growth, Intero Integrity Services is hiring for a Recruiter to join our team located in Scarborough, Ontario.
Position Summary
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment initiatives to support business maintenance and growth across all areas of the America’s business. This role will spend most of their time independently driving the planning, coordination and delivery of recruitment for the America’s business and support the onboarding function. This is not a passive recruitment role; this role will drive talent acquisition through a pro-active sales-based approach to proactively attract top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the full recruitment lifecycle, from hiring acquisition, intake, interviews including phone screen and scheduling through to final offer.
- Collaborate directly with leaders, hiring managers and the HR Business Partner to understand business needs, define role requirements, and establish a clear hiring strategy.
- Directly source high calibre candidates using a sales mindset with a drive to deliver. Crafts tailored outreach messages that highlight role impact, growth opportunities, and alignment with the candidate’s aspirations.
- In partnership with the HR Business Partner, develop and implement creative, data-driven sourcing strategies to identify and engage a diverse pool of talent, leveraging various platforms, and creative outreach techniques.
- Conduct thorough screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates’ qualifications, skills, and overall fit. Provide guidance to hiring managers on selection processes.
- Demonstrate an understanding of assessment methods to ensure all candidates presented meet the technical job requirements and fit the Intero culture.
- In partnership with the HR Business Partner, manage the offer process and provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
- Utilize recruitment data and analytics to track key metrics, optimize processes, and influence decisions. Provide insights into trends, market conditions, and candidate behaviors.
- Challenge hiring assumptions when necessary, offering informed recommendations based on data and market insights, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Maintains a pipeline of top candidates ready to hire.
- Produce and deliver business reviews with key managers and stakeholders.
- Work on enhancing the company’s brand and reputation to attract top talent in competitive markets. Stay current with industry trends and labor market dynamics.
- Continuously assess and refine the recruitment process to improve efficiency, speed, and candidate quality while ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
- Develop early careers partnerships, including coordinate job fair attendance, and attend as an Intero representative.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation.
- Support talent attraction focused projects.
What you should bring to the team:
Experience
- 3-5 years’ full cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Proven track record in direct hiring techniques.
- Ability to use data and analytics to drive decisions, optimize recruiting processes, and provide insights to hiring managers.
- Proven experience in developing innovative sourcing strategies and using multiple channels to identify and engage talent.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Able to pivot strategies quickly and solve problems creatively while managing competing priorities.
- Thrives in fast-paced, changing hiring landscapes and organizational priorities.
Education
- Has obtained a College Degree/Certificate in Business, Human Resources or related field.
- CHRP designation is an asset.
