We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Visual Merchandising professional to support the delivery of an in-store brand experience like no other. This role supports the execution of seasonal campaigns and brand DNA developed by the Creative Director through creative experiential initiatives and visual merchandising across our corporately owned stores and key wholesale partners globally. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the position contributes to the consistent, timely, and high-quality delivery of visual merchandising initiatives in a fast-paced, brand-led retail environment.
Some of what you’ll do:
- Lead the translation of the brand into physical store initiatives, balancing the creation of commercial and functional retail space, interior merchandising, seasonal floor-sets, window directives, signage, etc. (Flagship, Full Price, Outlet & Wholesale Shop in Shops)
- Lead the translation and implementation of the creative direction and marketing campaigns/concepts into the store environment
- Prepare, organize, and maintain visual merchandising materials, including floor-set packages, presentation decks, recaps, and reference documentation
- Develop and manage the Visual Merchandising budget annually
- Work with suppliers and team to deliver visual merchandising and experiential initiatives efficiently and cost effectively
- Coordinate timelines, approvals, and follow-ups related to visual merchandising and retail stores (e.g., seasonal floor-sets, window changes, and store initiatives)
- Partner with merchandising team at time of buys to create initial floor-sets and present them to leadership during Buy Reviews meetings
- Collaborate with the merchandising team on monthly floor-set changes and product introductions to create the monthly “store directive” with detailed style information and floor-set photos. Work with stores to ensure that the floor-set is being set up correctly in the various store layouts.
- Maintain and update department documentation, calendars, and asset libraries to support consistent execution across stores
- Review weekly sales and inventory performance with the DTC team to understand in-the-moment moves to impact the business
- Partner with Creative Director and merchandising team to create showroom direction for market opening globally
- Support departmental planning and logistics, including for seasonal launches, showroom setups, and market-related activities
- Participate in the process of fixture / unique store element development and maintaining all fixture layout packages across all stores
- Track deliverables and execution status to ensure on-time implementation of departmental initiatives
- Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive training program that teaches sales associates how to leverage visual merchandising schemes and how to execute them
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and organization across all visual merchandising documentation and communications
Some of what you’ll need:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in visual merchandising within fashion, luxury, or premium retail environments
- Experience supporting a brand-led retail model where visual merchandising is central to the customer experience
- Experience working in an environment with multiple senior stakeholders and competing priorities
- Experience supporting visual merchandising across multiple stores or regions
- Experience preparing or contributing materials used in cross-functional planning and review sessions
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with fixed deadlines
- Technical capability to execute drawings, floor maps, and visual layouts
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining structured files, materials, and reference tools
- Proven ability to track deliverables, timelines, and follow-ups to ensure consistent execution
- Comfortable supporting initiatives that require regular preparation, updates, and recap documentation
- Experience coordinating inputs and timelines across multiple teams or stakeholders
- Experience supporting work that follows weekly, monthly, and seasonal timelines
- A passion for storytelling and brand development
- Understanding of different markets globally
- Strong financial acumen to support driving sales and making sound business decisions through the visual merchandising role
- Confidence and the ability to communicate in front of a team
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of retail and visual merchandising
Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world. Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate.
