Job Description
My client is seeking a Dynamics 365 Solutions Specialist who will act as the internal functional and technical owner of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business process optimization, functional solution design, and Power Platform automation—turning complex requirements into streamlined, scalable CRM capabilities.
You will join a collaborative and growing team responsible for elevating the organization’s CRM maturity, reducing dependency on external developers, and building internal expertise across Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform. If you enjoy designing intuitive user experiences, building low-code automations, and owning CRM governance end-to-end, this is a perfect fit.
Hybrid role in Montreal (must be based in Montreal).
Bilingual French/English strongly preferred.
Role & Responsibilities
CRM Platform Ownership & Configuration
- Lead functional and technical configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Customize forms, views, business rules, dashboards, model-driven apps, and workflows.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable CRM solutions.
- Oversee and validate all third-party development to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
- Ensure platform stability, performance, usability, and long-term scalability.
Power Platform Automation
- Build efficient low-code solutions using Power Automate , Power Apps , and Dataverse .
- Apply Power Fx formulas to enhance model-driven applications when needed.
- Implement automation to simplify processes and reduce manual work across departments.
Integration & Data Quality
- Support integrations between CRM and ERP (Business Central), marketing tools, analytics platforms, and other systems.
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and alignment across business processes.
- Collaborate with IT vendors and internal teams to support continuous improvement and system evolution.
Governance, Controls & Lifecycle Management
- Uphold data governance standards and CRM best practices.
- Document change controls, configuration decisions, and platform lifecycle processes.
- Provide hands-on user support, training, and enablement to drive adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Membership, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the technical liaison with external vendors and integrators.
- Participate in IT & Data Steering Committee meetings to shape CRM strategy and platform roadmap.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- 2+ years of experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps , Power Automate , and Dataverse .
- Working understanding of REST API integrations, Azure Logic Apps, and cross-platform data flows.
- Familiarity with Power Fx and low-code customization approaches.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Microsoft certifications such as:
- Power Platform Developer Associate , or
- Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Functional Consultant Associate
- are an asset.
