We are seeking a law clerk or paralegal with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in personal injury to join our team. If you have hands-on experience with tort files, are a self-starter, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism, we would love to hear from you.
$40,000–$70,000
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage undertakings, production requests, and summaries of productions
- Draft legal documents (AOD, NOE, etc.)
- File management
- Correspond with third parties and clients
- Schedule Examinations for Discovery, mediations, and other proceedings
- Effectively track deadlines and timelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a law clerk or paralegal in a personal injury law firm
- Strong understanding of tort and the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Working knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient drafting skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining precision
- Self-starter with a high level of professionalism and client service skills
