Our client located near Yonge/Wellesley is looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant for a 4-month temporary assignment.
This role offers:
- Hourly rate: $33 to $35 per hour
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model. Must be in the office, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Industry: Non-profit sector
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Director.
- Managing the executive's calendar, travel, and correspondence.
- Preparing essential administrative documents (agendas, minutes, strategic notes, official letters).
- Coordinating Board of Directors and committee meetings, including logistics and minute-taking.
- Maintaining and optimizing physical and digital document management systems.
- Acting as a key administrative liaison and supporting internal teams with administrative tools and tasks.
- Handling general office administration: answering phones, inventory, ordering supplies, and categorizing invoices.
- Assisting with reporting, compiling simple financial data, and supporting funding requests.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluently bilingual in both French and English, written and verbal.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in administrative or executive support experience.
- Experience in a non-profit/community setting preferred.
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in Administration or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and competing stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency with office and collaborative tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- The ability to work autonomously and maintain the utmost confidentiality and professional ethics.
