We Are Hiring – Two Associate Lawyers (Vancouver)
Our client, a well-established business law firm in Vancouver , is growing and looking to add two Associate Lawyers to their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a boutique practice with strong mentorship, a collaborative culture, and a consistently growing client base.
Position 1: Junior Associate (2023–2024 Call)
Practice Area: Corporate Commercial
What you will do:
• Support senior lawyers on a wide range of corporate commercial matters
• Assist with incorporations, reorganizations, shareholder agreements, and general commercial contracts
• Conduct legal research and draft documents under supervision
• Work directly with business clients and gain early responsibility on files
What we are looking for:
• 2023–2024 call to the BC Bar
• Genuine interest in corporate commercial work
• Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills
• Proactive, motivated, and eager to build your career in corporate law
Position 2: Associate Lawyer (5–7 Year Call)
Practice Area: Corporate Commercial Law / Business Law
What you will do:
• Manage your own corporate commercial files with autonomy
• Advise clients on transactions, reorganizations, and general business matters
• Support the firm’s growing client roster while also developing your own practice
• Collaborate with a team of experienced business lawyers
What we are looking for:
• 5–7 years of corporate commercial experience
• Ability to manage files independently
• A modest book of business would be an asset
• Open to salary or fee-split compensation , depending on preference
