Duties:
- Update, correct, and input large volumes of billing data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review, validate, and perform QA checks on conversion data received from Utility company
- Support end-to-end billing verification and ensure test results match expected outputs.
- Perform billing scenario testing to confirm system functionality and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with the outsourced contact centre team to confirm accuracy of customer account information and testing outcomes.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and the Test Lead regarding test progress, issues, and dependencies.
- Create or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to new processes, billing workflows, and testing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of testing steps, results, updates, and data corrections.
- Execute assigned test scripts and work through 10 defined case scenarios directly tied to billing operations and project requirements.
- Identify, validate, and document issues, defects, and discrepancies encountered during UAT.
- Log and track issues in the project defect-tracking system with clear notes and evidence.
- Report findings to the Test Lead and participate in defect review discussions.
Requirements:
1) 2 years of utility billing experience
2) Municipality experience is a strong asset
3) UAT exp is an asset
Location: Downtown Hamilton, 3 days a week in office, may be 5 days a week in office for some of UAT, have to work 2 weekends for UAT in March.
