Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an out-of-the-box, strategic Marketing & PR Manager to build and lead brand marketing efforts from the ground up. This is a hands-on, manager-level role for someone who does not rely on playbooks alone, but instead creates them.
This position is ideal for a confident, front-facing professional who can think strategically, execute independently, and represent the client’s brand with credibility and polish. The successful candidate will shape the marketing vision, develop messaging, and turn ideas into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and build the marketing and PR strategy from the ground up , including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approach
- Develop and execute integrated marketing and communications plans that increase brand awareness, credibility, and lead generation
- Act as a strategic partner to leadership, translating business goals into clear, actionable marketing initiatives
- Lead digital marketing efforts across social media, email, website, content, and paid campaigns
- Create high-impact content such as press releases, thought leadership pieces, case studies, newsletters, and sales enablement materials
- Build, manage, and leverage relationships with media, partners, influencers, and industry stakeholders
- Plan and execute events, product launches, trade shows, and promotional campaigns
- Track performance metrics, analyze results, and continuously optimize strategy using data-driven insights
- Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications
- Manage external vendors, agencies, or freelancers as needed and scale efforts as the function grows

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations , or a related field
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in marketing and/or PR, with demonstrated strategic ownership
- Proven experience building marketing programs or functions from the ground up
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, media relations, and analytics
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strategic focus
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B, technology, or complex/technical industries
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
- Experience working with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Background in agency environments or high-growth companies
