About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director, Project Management to support the CEO and President/CFO in leading strategic initiatives and elevate project delivery across the company. This pivotal role is responsible for establishing, guiding, and optimizing our project management framework to ensure rigor while enabling agility and rapid growth. The ideal candidate will champion governance, executive-level reporting, and cross-functional communication to promote alignment and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Strategic Projects & Establish Governance:
- Develop and implement firm-wide project management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and processes.
- Oversee planning and execution of high-impact initiatives across multiple entities ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Establish governance mechanisms for prioritization, approvals, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Work with Department Leads to produce annual SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) which outline deliverables and reporting guidelines.
Project Delivery:
- Ensure all programs and projects adhere to PMO standards, deliver expected benefits, and meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Support escalations and remove barriers to keep critical projects on track.
- Serve as the key liaison between project teams, senior leadership, and departments.
- Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
- Lead regular project review meetings with internal teams and external partners.
- Drive continuous improvement in project methodologies and tools.
Reporting & Analytics
- Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reporting for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Create and maintain robust reporting structures for project performance, financial impact, and operational KPIs.
- Promote adoption of process automation, data-driven insights, and industry best practices.
What you Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP, or Agile/Scrum credentials (CSM, SAFe, etc.) are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project or program management, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing enterprise-level portfolios and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management capabilities.
- Deep expertise in project governance, risk management, and portfolio planning.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- High-level strategic thinking paired with strong analytical, financial, and business acumen.
- Work with Department Leads to produce annual SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) which outline deliverables and reporting guidelines
Predictive Index Assessments
As part of our hiring process, candidates complete two short assessments from Predictive Index:
- A Behavioural Assessment (5–10 minutes, untimed) to understand your work and communication style.
- A Cognitive Assessment (12-minute timed) to measure learning and problem-solving abilities.
These are not tests of intelligence or experience, they simply help us understand how you work best.
