We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team on a 12 month contract with a strong potentital to turn into permanent, full time. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle and providing day-to-day HR support across the organization. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, and coordinating interviews.
- Manage employee benefits, enrollment, and inquiries.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Contribute to HR operations and initiatives, supporting a collaborative and positive workplace culture.
- Partner with leadership to address employee relations issues as needed.
- Support HR reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of employment standards and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient with HRIS and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable with bi-weekly travel within Ontario
