Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to consult on talent needs and manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle
- Design and deliver effective assessment and selection strategies to support evidence-based hiring decisions
- Provide market insights and strategic advice to guide realistic and competitive hiring approaches
- Ensure consistent, fair, and compliant hiring practices, including compensation guidance and offer management
- Manage candidate evaluations, references, background checks, and onboarding in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines and promote the employer brand through networking and events
- Leverage sourcing tools, labour market data, and vendor partnerships to support current and future hiring needs
- Contribute to recruitment projects, process improvements, and data-driven talent acquisition initiatives
- Deliver guidance and presentations on recruitment policies, systems, and best practices

- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
- Data-driven mindset with experience using recruitment analytics and market insights
- Ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, and shifting priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills with sound judgment and empathy
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across all recruitment activities
- Proven ability to assess candidate competencies and role fit using best-practice tools
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential HR matters
- Experience in a unionized environment and working knowledge of relevant employment legislation
- University degree in a relevant field (or equivalent)
- 4–6 years of experience in human resources or talent acquisition
