As part of a global talent search, ACCIONA Infrastructure North America is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scheduler / Planner to join one of our major infrastructure projects based in the Greater Vancouver Area, BC .

Main Responsibilities:
The Senior Scheduler / Planner is responsible for establishing project schedules for the different phases of the project. Responsible for maintaining schedules, adjusting where necessary, prepare look-ahead, work with budgeting and change management.
- Oversee the project master schedule for the project in accordance with contract requirements.
- Build relationships internally, externally and with clients regarding scheduling on project schedule.
- Leading reporting of progress, and delays to schedule and provide solutions on hurdles.
- Manage schedule updates in accordance with budget and cash flow.
- Assess risks and upkeep risk register according to labor activity.
- Work with subtrades and field staff for inputs into the project schedule and look-ahead.
- Identify and assess quality risks to the schedule and project.
- Review subcontract schedule status and provide leadership with input on subcontract performance.
- Take lead on preparation of various levels of project reports, planning, scheduling and meetings in order to be compliant with project needs.
- Support on implementing project schedule changes.
- Provide schedule updates as per any change managements or additions.
- Ensure that contracts are in accordance and compliance with project deliverables.
- Review and update the cash flow and identify deviations from project schedule and cash flow would require mitigation to get to ensure project is on path.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other Senior Planners/schedulers on the team.
- Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any deviation from master schedule.
- Working with various disciplines to ensure schedule is comprehensive and built out in a thorough manner.
- Ensure quality standards are met.
- Other duties as required.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Scheduler/Planner on large-scale transit or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Exceptional skills in scheduling tools such as Excel, MS Project and Primavera.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Proven ability to pivot and adjust in accordance with the project changes.
- Experience working in a joint venture considered a strong asset.
Salary range for this role is between $120,000.00 - $165, depending on experience.
