HVAC Technician / Heat Pump Specialist
Able Pro Heating & Cooling – Metro Vancouver
Type: Full-Time or Sub-Contract
Compensation: $52 – $68 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Metro Vancouver
Able Pro Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to join our growing service and installation team. This position is intended for a professional who is comfortable working independently, communicates well with customers, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
Responsibilities
• Install, service, and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, ductless and central heat pumps
• Diagnose system issues and perform required repairs
• Complete installations according to manufacturer specifications and local code
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and recommended work
• Maintain accurate service records
• Keep company vehicle and tools organized and in proper working condition
• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
• Valid Gas B License
• Minimum 3 years of field experience in HVAC service and installation
• Valid BC Driver’s Licence with clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned jobs
• Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills
• Own basic hand tools
Preferred Qualifications
• Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic
• FSR Certification
• Gas A License
• Heat pump installation experience
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu or similar equipment
