Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join a Digital Technology Team within a leading Canadian bank. This team is focused on driving digital transformation and innovation within their wealth management practice through agile delivery of technology solutions. The BSA will work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to define business needs and translate them into actionable requirements. This role supports the delivery of proprietary digital products that enhance automation, reduce manual processes, and improve client engagement. This is a 6-month contract with extensions and is hybrid (2x per week in Downtown Toronto).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Partner with agile squads throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support system testing, UAT, and validation of new features.
- Align technology solutions with business goals and KPIs.
- Promote agile practices and continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for asset management and advisory platforms.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure business and operational needs are met.
- Contribute to building and enhancing secure digital platforms for financial advisors, including advisor onboarding and account opening processes.
- Provide insights to close gaps between product vision and operational execution.
- Support integration with IFDS systems, including smart form functionality.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst within financial services, specifically asset/wealth management or investment firms.
- Strong understanding of investment products (Mutual Funds, ETFs, CDRs, etc.).
- Experience with advisory platforms and building secure sites for financial advisors (similar to platforms used by TD, RBC, and Scotia).
- Knowledge of advisor onboarding processes and account opening workflows.
- Familiarity with IFDS integration and smart form capabilities.
- Experience working in proprietary digital technology environments.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, JIRA, Confluence) and proficiency with SharePoint and MS Office.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience writing business cases, feasibility studies, and current state assessments.

- Exposure to industry platforms like Charles River or State Street (not for integration but general familiarity).
- Background in building advisory platforms and enhancing client engagement tools.
