The Role
As a Senior Art Director, you're the go-to creative problem solver, turning big ideas into bold, eye-catching brand magic. What You Will Do
- Think big - develop bold, modern, insight-driven creative concepts across a variety of channels.
- Dive into briefs, research, and client meetings to uncover clarity and strategic direction.
- Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Designers, Production, and cross-functional partners to turn ideas into polished work.
- Present creative concepts and rationales with confidence to internal teams and clients, building strong relationships and championing the best ideas forward.
- Bring creative ideas to life across broadcast, digital, social, print, and emerging formats while maintaining brand integrity.
- Provide creative leadership and inspiration to junior Art Directors and project teams.
- Attend and actively participate in briefs, working sessions, and client presentations.
- Ensure creative execution is aligned with strategy, delivered on time, and produced efficiently in partnership with Production and Studio teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, budget awareness, and adherence to medical/legal/regulatory guidelines.
- Contribute positively to agency culture and foster strong, collaborative relationships.
Who You Will Be
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following:
- 7+ years of art direction experience in a creative agency environment.
- Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare experience required.
- Experience in CPG: consumer or packaging brands.
- Adhere to legal, medical, and regulatory pharma and brand guidelines, as well as any client-specific rules and brand guidelines.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional conceptual thinking, craft, and multi-channel work (digital, social, print, broadcast, OOH, etc.). Note: Please include a link to your portfolio in your resume).
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to ideate and translate insights into compelling concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (bilingual English/French an asset).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple fast-paced projects.
- A collaborative team player with strong emotional intelligence, professionalism, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Proven experience leading creative projects from concept to completion.
- Working knowledge of GenAI tools for conceptualization.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Figma or XD or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams) or equivalent.
- Experience with video editing, animation, 3D, AI, web design is a plus.
- Ability to think, conceptualize and work both in static as well as motion/video/audio.
- Experience in storyboarding and building concepts for timeline based creative.
- Well-rounded / 360 experience producing creative in several areas: Digital Ads, Social, OLV, Product Video, OOH Static & Digital, Print, POP/POS, TV, VO.
