Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Maritime Launch Services Ltd., based in Halifax, NS. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead daily internal operations, translating the CEO's vision into actionable plans, and ensuring efficiency, productivity, and goal achievement across departments like HR, Finance, and Supply Chain, ultimately driving profitability and growth by optimizing processes, managing teams, and monitoring performance metrics. They act as the second-in-command, focusing on execution while the CEO handles external strategy, fostering a strong company culture, and ensuring operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Business Planning and Operations Management
- Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting to develop and oversee financial strategies
- Excellent Analytical Skills to evaluate complex problems and create actionable solutions
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Experience in the aerospace or technology industry is a plus
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
