As an Expeditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services to support our operations. You’ll collaborate with suppliers, buyers, and internal teams to maintain order integrity, resolve discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement in our procurement processes.
Key deliverables include:
- Review and action open order reports with buyers
- Maintain and follow up on upcoming and overdue orders, aiming to keep overdue orders within target dates
- Contact suppliers for orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Obtain and update shipping information from supplier portals.
- Maintain and update vendor contact lists.
- Coordinate technical supplier setup, including banking info and name changes, by submitting required forms to vendor support.
- Review vendor open order reports weekly from key suppliers.
- Reach out to suppliers for critical items reports and collaborate to resolve inventory shortages for scheduled maintenance.
- Work with buyers and suppliers to resolve order discrepancies and ensure accurate fulfillment, receipt, and payment.
- Coordinate with Logistics and suppliers to oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.
- Facilitate purchasing processes in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Manage internal stakeholder relationships and drive compliant buying procedures.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to missing shipments, incorrect documentation, or quality discrepancies.
- Request and obtain Certificates of Conformance (CERTS) for incoming parts.
- Organize RMAs for parts that cannot be accepted.
- Ensure invoices and account statements are matched with accounts payable; request credit notes or refunds for lost shipments.

Experience and qualifications:
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement.
