Packaging supplier serving major grocery, retail, and distribution channels is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across Western Canada and the U.S. West Coast. This position involves direct sales to retail chains, distributor management, and development of strategic supply programs for packaging consumables such as bags, films, and related products.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new accounts within grocery, retail, and food distribution sectors
- Manage pricing proposals, annual budgeting, and revenue planning
- Develop strategic supply agreements and multi-location proposals
- Collect customer requirements, specifications, and buying criteria to prepare competitive bids
- Coordinate field activities with brokers, distributor representatives, and internal commercial teams
- Monitor territory performance versus plan and adjust account strategy as needed
- Prepare product presentations, pricing documents, and supply program proposals
- Represent the company at regional trade shows, vendor meetings, and industry events
- Maintain CRM records including pipeline stages, account data, and forecast reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in packaging, retail supply, paper, plastics, bags, films, or related consumables
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience managing multi-location retail accounts, distributor networks, and packaging purchasing groups
- Knowledge of grocery packaging, retail consumables, films, sheeting, or store supply categories
