Now Hiring: Director, Technical Sales & Strategic Accounts — Advanced Manufacturing | Aerospace & Defence Focus
I’m partnering with a highly respected precision manufacturer recognized for its innovation, engineering excellence, and commitment to helping global OEMs solve complex manufacturing challenges. We’re looking for a Director of Technical Sales & Strategic Accounts — a commercially savvy leader who blends technical depth with strategic business development acumen.
Please note : This role requires regular in-person collaboration at our client’s Langley, BC office. Candidates must be able to travel to Langley on a frequent basis.
💼 The Opportunity
This role will shape the company’s next stage of growth by opening new markets, strengthening partnerships with Tier 1–3 OEMs, and driving customer-focused innovation across aerospace, defence, semiconductor , and emerging sectors.
As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and technical sales to deliver cutting-edge, design-for-manufacturability solutions. You’ll also guide and mentor a small internal sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and client focus.
🌎 What You’ll Do
- Build and expand strategic relationships with OEMs and key industry partners.
- Lead pursuit of high-value, long-cycle opportunities from qualification through to delivery.
- Partner with internal experts to craft tailored, technically informed proposals.
- Strengthen existing accounts through proactive engagement and problem-solving.
- Manage a robust, well-qualified pipeline with consistent CRM discipline.

🧠 Your Background
- 8+ years in OEM or technical sales within aerospace, defence, semiconductors, or other advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Proven ability to grow revenue through relationship-based sales and value-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards.
- Comfortable interpreting technical data and discussing “design for manufacturability” with engineering teams.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and account management skills.
- Willingness to travel (Canada, U.S., and international).
