Role summary
Inside Sales Representative (internal title: Regional Sales Manager) supports business development by proactively engaging advisors, executing marketing and sales initiatives, and managing day-to-day territory activity. Working closely with the District Vice President (Wholesaler), this role focuses on strengthening advisor relationships, generating pipeline, and helping meet and exceed established sales goals and performance objectives within the assigned region.
Key responsibilities
- Support business development initiatives through proactive inside-sales activity and consistent outreach to financial advisors
- Prospect and identify new advisor opportunities; qualify leads, schedule meetings, and coordinate next steps with the District Vice President
- Conduct timely follow-up calls after all sales meetings to maintain momentum and advance pipeline opportunities
- Respond promptly to advisor inquiries related to product information, fund performance, processes, and required documentation
- Prepare and distribute product information, sales materials, presentations, and territory reporting as needed
- Partner with investment advisors by providing up-to-date portfolio insights, market information, and relevant marketing ideas
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to organize meetings, advisor events, webinars, and targeted campaigns
- Leverage available tools, CRM systems, resources, and analytics to support the District Vice President and optimize territory effectiveness
- Attend sales meetings with the Wholesaler as required
Qualifications
- University Degree
- Canadian Securities Course preferred
- 3+ years previous experience providing sales/client support to investment advisors
- Keen interest and knowledge of capital markets – both fixed-income and equities
- Interest and ability in sales development
- Organizational skills to effectively manage a territory activity rotation
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline and maintain strong responsiveness and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Morningstar is an asset
- Knowledge of National Instrument NI 81-105 is an asset

Salary
$80,000.00 - $130,000.00
Salary will vary depending on factors such as experience, education and qualifications. This position is a commission-based role, the salary range listed above reflects Canoe’s expected compensation for the first year in this position.
