The Opportunity
To support strategic growth, our client is hiring a Senior Account Manager to accelerate new client acquisition in Pharma, Life Sciences and Retail . This is a “hunter/ account manager” role focused on winning new business—especially with organizations requiring strict QA standards, and reliable distribution. You’ll identify opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, run discovery, and develop proposals that align operational capabilities with client needs. You will work closely with internal operations, quality, and client services teams to ensure solutions are commercially strong and operationally executable.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new opportunities across pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech, medical device, and related life sciences organizations .
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, events, and strategic networking.
- Lead discovery calls and translate requirements into strong, compliant fulfillment solutions.
- Position services such as warehousing, controlled storage, inventory visibility, packaging, sample/program fulfillment, and distribution as high-value, risk-reducing solutions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to build proposals, pricing, and operational workflows that meet compliance and service-level expectations.
- Communicate differentiators clearly: accuracy, audit readiness, transparency, speed-to-market, and program execution quality.
- Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders including Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Commercial leaders.
- Support onboarding handoffs to ensure a smooth launch and a strong long-term client experience.
- Stay current on market trends within life sciences logistics and fulfillment (e.g., compliance expectations, supply constraints, packaging/program demands).
What You Bring
- 4+ years of business development / sales experience selling into Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device organizations (or adjacent regulated sectors).
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business in a competitive environment.
- Strong network across life sciences stakeholders (Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Commercial).
- Understanding of regulated environments and terminology
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative, solutions-based approach.
- Highly organized and metrics-driven (pipeline management, forecasting, CRM hygiene).
Nice to Have
- Experience selling 3PL / fulfillment / warehousing / kitting services.
- Familiarity with controlled-storage programs and compliance-led onboarding.
