Salary:
Rosehill Wine Cellars is headquartered in Mississauga and focuses on Wine Storage/Cooling and a complete line of Wine Accessories through either our Showroom or our online ecommerce store. We construct custom wine cellars for our customers complete with design build capabilities.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full time Technical Sales position who will be assisting in the overall handling of customer requests for Rosehill's products and processing orders and fulfillment using Rosehill's software platforms. The main focus will be on Sales but there is also a technical customer service aspect and superior attention to detail is a MUST. The successful candidate must have excellent phone manner and thrive when working independently. We are a retail/office so you must be comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate is pro-active, self-motivated, a quick learner with a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will get hands-on experience in a mid-sized company through a variety of tasks and exposure to a friendly and team-oriented office environment. In addition, the successful candidate will work in the ever so interesting wine industry and be part of a growing company that will offer many opportunities for advancement.
Please note, this is an inside sales role. As a retail environment, our sales are more reactionary in nature and we pride ourselves in providing appropriate solutions for wine cellar applications.
Primary Duties
The successful candidate will work at Rosehill's head office in Mississauga:
- Welcome customers into Rosehill's Mississauga Showroom and walk them through Rosehill's offerings.
- Respond to telephone and web requests for information and walk them through the process to purchase Rosehill's products and services.
- Fulfill walk in, phone and web orders using Rosehill's shipping process as needed.
- Handle customer service enquiries on order and or product issues.
- Learn about the technical aspects of the products Rosehill represents, and be able to provide knowledgeable support to our clients as they implement and use our products.
- When available, responding to telephone calls including but not limited to answering phone, taking messages, greeting guests, and (re)scheduling.
- Assist in special department assignments.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a technical sales retail role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 particularly SharePoint, Teams, Excel and Word (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas etc.).
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online a bonus
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Shows initiative and will follow-through with limited supervision and direction
- Experience in a professional office setting.
- Neat in appearance and professional in attitude.
- Superior attention to detail.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Work Location: In person
Industry: Construction, retail or ecommerce, wine industry a plus. WSET certification is also great.
