Overview
MTFX is seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales leader to drive the development and execution of our Canadian and international sales strategy, with a strong emphasis on supporting Canadian businesses expanding into the U.K. and European markets. This role is responsible for leading corporate and institutional client acquisition and retention while expanding MTFX’s market share in corporate FX and payment solutions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, and positioning MTFX as a trusted global payments and FX partner. This individual will also lead, train, and mentor Canadian sales and business development teams, establishing clear sales processes, performance standards, and KPIs to drive consistent growth.
In addition, the role involves overseeing complex pricing negotiations and customized FX solutions, conducting market and competitor analysis, contributing to revenue forecasting and strategic planning, and ensuring all sales activities comply with FINTRAC, AML, and applicable financial industry regulations. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of corporate FX and international payments.
Job Duties:
- Leading the development and execution of MTFX’s Canadian and international sales strategy, with a strong focus on helping Canadian businesses expand into the U.K. and European markets.
- Managing corporate and institutional client acquisition and retention.
- Develop and implement sales plans to expand market share in corporate FX and payment services.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Training and mentoring Canadian sales and business development teams.
- Establish and enforce sales processes, performance standards, and KPIs for the sales team.
- Oversee negotiation of pricing structures, service agreements, and FX solutions tailored to client needs.
- Conducting market and competitor analysis, preparing revenue forecasts, and contributing to strategic planning.
- Ensure sales activities comply with FINTRAC, AML, and financial industry regulations.

40 hours per week

Wages / Salary Offered:
Base Salary: 125,000 per year or 60.00 per hour. You will be eligible to earn sales commissions and other sales incentives pursuant to the Company’s Incentive Plan, which may be revised by the Company from time to time.
Benefits Offered:
You will be eligible to participate in MTFX’s group benefits plan (health and dental) after a three-month probationary period.

2. Skills & Requirements for the Position
Minimum Education Required:
Minimum of an undergraduate degree in Business Management, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience:
3+ years of experience in corporate FX sales, B2B FX account management, financial services, FX, or related industry.
1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
