We are currently hiring a full-time Branch Manager at Rentco’s Tool Shed.
This position will manage 8 employees with additional staff in the spring.
As the Branch Manager, you are responsible for:
- Promptly addressing and resolving customer service issues and elevating serious or repeated issues to Senior Management, when requiredPromptly addressing and documenting employee issues and elevating serious or repeated issues to HR, when requiredHire, training, coaching, and developing direct reports to meet company
standardsScheduling, delegating, and prioritizing work on a day-to-day basis Completing A/R and A/P paperwork correctly and on-timeMonitoring inventory levels and ensuring inventory is completed timely and accurately, and missing items are
investigatedEnsuring quality control for our equipment, yard, and shop through random
inspectionsEnsuring proper records are maintained per Rentco
proceduresConducting performance evaluations for direct reportsReviewing and approving direct reports hours and submit them to payroll bi-weeklyAttending safety meetings and conducting when
necessaryMonitoring costs and identifying ways to reduce unnecessary spendingEnsuring branch revenue meets company
targetsCollaborating with Marketing Coordinator to identify and promote marketing and sales
strategiesCollaborating with Health & Safety Coordinator to ensure safety compliance, managing hazards, ensuring safety training for direct reports is current, and investigating safety
incidentsRepresenting Rentco Equipment Ltd. as a knowledgeable, professional, and respected brand ambassador who embodies the image and values of the
organizationNetworking to improve the presence and reputation of the branch/company and representing Rentco in community events to foster community
partnershipsAssessing local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
You have the following skills and abilities:
- Previous management experience, preferably in a retail environmentAbility to deliver and promote excellent customer service among staffAbility to lead a team tactfully and respectfully while achieving resultsAbility to prioritize and delegate tasks to appropriate staffAbility to maintain a high level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and
accountabilityIntermediate computer skillsClass 5 licence with a clean abstract and the ability to travel when required
