• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Monitor and report on clients’ health status, changes in condition, or concerns to family members or healthcare providers
• Assist with specialized care needs such as working with individuals with disabilities
• Administer bedside and personal care
• Administer medications
• Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
• Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk

Qualifications
• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, senior care, or home care preferred
• Knowledge of patient care practices and caregiving techniques
• Experience working with people with disabilities and eye-gaze a plus
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when necessary
• Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
• Certification in medication administration or nursing background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
