The Role
Reporting to the Planner, the Scheduling Clerk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of scheduling and production coordination to ensure manufacturing efficiency and the timely delivery of production targets. This role supervises and supports scheduling clerks and related staff, ensuring that production plans, resources, and inventory align with organizational goals.
You will be responsible for prioritizing work assignments, monitoring performance, resolving scheduling conflicts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and communication across the supply chain and production departments.
This position requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining alignment with company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You’re an organized and proactive supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You excel at coordinating production schedules, managing workloads, and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of scheduling and resource planning. A natural leader, you supervise and coordinate the activities of scheduling clerks and related staff, establish work priorities, and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
You’re skilled at collaborating across departments — production, inventory control, and shipping — to optimize resources and maintain efficient operations. You monitor performance indicators such as production efficiency, schedule adherence, and material availability, and you’re quick to resolve issues that could impact workflow. You take pride in reviewing data for accuracy, maintaining organized systems, and recommending process improvements that enhance productivity and communication.
You are also a strong communicator and mentor who trains, motivates, and develops your team to perform at their best. Your leadership fosters accountability and teamwork, ensuring that people, materials, and timelines align seamlessly to meet business objectives. With your blend of technical knowledge, organizational skill, and commitment to continuous improvement, you help keep Ganong’s production operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Pay rate: $30.00 hourly / 37.5 hours per week
Education:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience:
- 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Location:
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
