Position: Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our growing operations, eCommerce, and commercial teams. This role will act as a critical bridge between data, systems, and decision-making, ensuring accurate reporting, optimized pricing and margins, and reliable data flows across platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable working hands-on with data while also contributing to higher-level insights and process improvements as experience grows. The scope and level of ownership will scale based on the candidate's background and demonstrated capabilities.

Salary- $70k-$90k (Based on Experience)
Responsibilities
Data Management and Analysis
- Maintain high standards of data hygiene across systems, including SKUs, pricing, cost, and margin data.
- Perform margin, pricing, and profitability analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Analyze sales, inventory, and procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across ERP, eCommerce, and reporting tools.
Systems and Reporting
- Work with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and eCommerce platforms (Shopify or similar) to support data integrity and reporting.
- Troubleshoot data sync and integration issues between systems.
- Build, maintain, and improve reports, dashboards, and saved searches (Excel, Power BI, ERP reporting tools).
- Support automation of recurring reports and dashboards as systems mature.
Cross- Functional Support
- Act as a key data partner to Operations and Sales, Finance, and Technology teams.
- Translate business questions into data-driven insights and clear reporting.
- Support SKU setup, pricing updates, promotions, and cost changes in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Contribute to system enhancements, process improvements, and analytics best practices.
Advances/ Growth-Oriented Contributions (based on experience)
- Support or lead pricing strategy and procurement analytics
- Build automated dashboards and executive-level reporting.
- Play a leadership role in eCommerce launches, system integration, or platform scaling
- Act as a de facto commercial or operational analytics lead on assigned initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, data validation)
- Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and/or eCommerce platforms (Shopify or similar)
- Exposure to Power BI or other BI/reporting tools is strongly preferred
- Experience in distribution, healthcare, retail, or e-commerce environments is an asset
- Strong understanding of pricing, margin analysis, and SKU-level data
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve data issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
