Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
We’re looking for a Coordinator, Community Engagement to support Vancity’s growing focus on delivering meaningful, and impactful events and experiences in our communities. This role plays a key part in strengthening how Vancity shows up at our events, partnerships and local activations – ensuring we’re engaging, visible, and creating meaningful connections within the communities we serve.
In this position, you’ll orchestrate logistics to ensure the flawless execution and measurable impact of all community activations. You’ll work closely with internal partners across departments, external vendors, and partners to ensure every touchpoint reflects Vancity’s brand and elevates our presence in the communities we serve.
This is a full-time role with hybrid flexibility, primarily based at Vancity’s head office. You will be required to attend the events and activations you lead across the province, with travel required to Toronto from time to time. These events may take place on weekends or evenings.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Supporting logistics and planning for community events, partnerships, activations, and sponsorship deliverables.
- Coordinating communication with internal teams (e.g., marketing, brand, branches) and external vendors to ensure deliverables are clear, timely, and aligned.
- Maintaining project timelines, activation calendars, asset inventories, and event documentation.
- Managing budget tracking, vendor invoices, and administrative workflows to ensure efficient operations.
- Assisting with onsite event execution, including setup, teardown, materials coordination, and troubleshooting.
- Supporting with delivery of assets from our Creative Services, Content and Social teams.
- Supporting post-event reporting, including attendance metrics, impact summaries, budget reconciliation, and improvement recommendations.
- Managing multiple events and partnerships concurrently.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 1–2 years of experience in event coordination, community engagement, marketing, partnerships, or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Experience in event logistics, vendor coordination, or partnerships.
- Proficiency with digital tools for project tracking, communication, and reporting.
- A detail‑oriented, process‑driven mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to keep partners and stakeholders aligned and accountable.

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers an annual salary range of $55,300.00 to $60,000. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements
