THE ROLE
Our client, a respected and design-driven firm in Alberta, is seeking a talented 3D Visualization Specialist to support their growing portfolio of design projects. This is a part-time position ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a collaborative studio environment and has a strong eye for detail, lighting, materials, and spatial storytelling. Can be based in Edmonton or Calgary.
You will work closely with architects and designers to produce high-quality visualizations that support design development, client presentations, and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality 3D renderings, perspectives, and animations for architectural and interior projects - must have done this type of work, ideally high level projects
Develop realistic lighting, textures, materials, and environments
Translate design drawings, sketches, and Revit/AutoCAD models into compelling visuals
Support concept design, design development, and presentation stages
Assist with presentation graphics, diagrams, and visual storytelling
Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and design intent
Maintain consistent visual standards across projects
WHAT'S REQUIRED
Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Visualization, Design, or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in architectural visualization
Strong proficiency in tools such as:
3ds Max, SketchUp, Blender or similar
V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion or equivalent
Adobe Creative Suite
Experience working with Revit and/or AutoCAD models preferred
Strong understanding of architecture, materials, lighting, and composition
Excellent attention to detail and design sensibility
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience working in high level design firms and possess a strong portfolio of work
Based physically in Alberta (not a remote role)
