Hydrostone Academy offers engaging after-school programs, as well as March Break and summer camps for students of all ages. We are committed to providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment where children can explore, create, and learn.
Position Overview:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable staff to join our team on a casual, on-call basis. You will support children in our after-school programs and seasonal camps, helping to deliver activities, supervise play, and ensure a positive and safe environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in activities, both indoor and outdoor.
- Assist with program setup, cleanup, and organization of materials.
- Support the delivery of structured activities, games, and educational experiences.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and program coordinators.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in educational, recreational, or care settings.
- A post-secondary degree is an asset.
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check (required prior to starting).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility and reliability to work on short notice.
