Production Operator
This role is a fulltime rotating schedule of two weeks of days and two weeks of afternoons.
Days: Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm
Afternoons: Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Main Responsibilities:
- Accountable for ensuring the proper handling, care and processing of products
- Comply with all safety rules, regulations and procedures
- Simple operation of manufacturing equipment
- Follow all QC procedures and identify non-conforming product
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Assist in other areas of the shop as directed
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Basic math skills with the ability to read a tape measure
- Safety & Quality conscious
- Proven reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to learn & motivated to succeed
- Team oriented
- Strong communicator
Qualifications that may be considered an asset:
- Operation of forklifts
- Boiler Ticket
- Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
- Experience working in a manufacturing or shop environment
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment, working with various machines and equipment
- Moderately physical work; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Long periods of standing, noisy and hot environment
- PPE is required on the shop floor at all times (Ear/Eye protection & Steel-toed boots)
