The Opportunity
The Belleville Senators are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented professional to join our Ticket Sales & Service team asAccount Executive, Ticket Sales & Service. This is an excellent opportunity to join an NHL affiliate which will allow the candidate to become fully engaged in the business of a professional sports team.
The Belleville Senators are seeking an Account Executive to aid in the development of the teams ticketing portfolio. This includes both the sale and retention of season tickets, flex packages, group experiences and premium hospitality. The individual will be responsible for prospecting new opportunities, closing and retaining business, and maintaining respective relationships. The position exists within the Department of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities
The candidate will primarily be responsible for:
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets for season tickets, flex packages, group tickets and premium hospitality
- Generating new sales revenue through prospecting, outbound calls, client meetings, customized emails, team-related events, upselling and generating referrals, among other methods
- Maintain detailed and accurate record of all prospects, active leads and current clients in database
- Develop and execute sales events to promote and sell ticket packages
- Perform in-game responsibilities, including group sales execution, client entertainment and sales booth
- Provide customer service and aid in the resolution of ticketing issues with fans as they arise
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications (what we look for)
- University/College Degree in business administration, sports management or a related field
- 1-2 years of previous experience in an outbound sales position and/or professional sports environment
- A demonstrated interest in and affluence for sales and service within professional sports
- Comfort within a results oriented atmosphere that includes over the telephone and in-person sales
- Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as relationship management skills
- Be self-directed and able to work independently with integrity
- Effective organization and prioritization, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands
- A strong work ethic and desire to build a career in the professional sports industry
- Able to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and game days as needed
- An entirely professional attitude and demeanor at all times
Who We Are
The Belleville Senators are a professional ice hockey team based in Belleville, Ontario, competing in the American Hockey League (AHL). They are the top affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators and were established in 2017 after the Binghamton Senators relocated to Belleville. The team plays its home games at CAA Arena and serves as a key development ground for Ottawas future NHL talent.

This role falls within a base salary range of $39,200.00 - $60,000.00 annually, consistent with the organizations established salary ranges. Salary ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to market data, internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skillset.
