Position Summary
Norpac Construction is advancing its presence in the civil and earthworks sector, leveraging opportunities generated by its expertise in slope stabilization projects. As the company continues to grow, there is an increased need for administrative support. The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in coordinating crew schedules and logistics, while also supporting the administrative team as required.

This is an in-office position reporting directly to Norpac Senior Management.

Norpac offers comprehensive project support, including assessment, multiple solution options, design engineering when required, execution, and project close-out, all while keeping clients informed and comfortable throughout the process. The company excels in servicing a diverse range of sites and clients, including mine sites, hydro projects, highways, railways, private developments, oil and gas operations, remote and helicopter-access locations, and federal projects such as parks, forestry, and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Norpac is equipped to perform a broad spectrum of services, including:
· High angle rock scaling and rope access work
· Avalanche control systems and high impact fences
· Shotcrete, shoring, and underpinning
· Horizontal drain hole drilling
· Micro-piling and foundation drilling
· Rock and slope mesh installation (drape, curtains, passive and active systems)
· Pressure grouting and grout curtains
· Anchor installation for earth and rock
· Installation of slope monitoring systems (prisms, piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers)
· Blasting and high angle rock excavation
· Tie back retaining walls and soldier pile walls
· Rock carving (stamped and broom finished)
· Soundwalls
· Concrete foundation repairs
Requirements
· Familiarity with basic computer programs and typing skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, OneDrive, and Projects
· Ability to manage and oversee scheduling
· Assistance with additional administrative, reception and logistical tasks as needed
· Clear and effective communication of key information; management of correspondence
· Adaptability and flexibility to prioritize the most important tasks at any given time
· Strong organizational skills
· Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
· Capacity to multitask while maintaining a high attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborate within a team when necessary
· Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in HSE and HR considered an asset
· Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
