Position: Assistant manager - food services
Wage: CAD$35.00-37.000/hour (depending on experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including morning, evening, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating daily food service operations
• Step in for the Food Services Manager when needed, taking on their its in their absence
• Monitor revenue and expenses, including reporting irregularities or opportunities for improvement
• Develop and implement operational procedures, maintaining consistency in service delivery
• Control inventory by tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
• Liaise with suppliers and make arrangements for food and other supplies
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff to maintain service standards
• Establish staff work schedules and monitor employee performance
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Resolve customer service issues or complaints
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience required.
• Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is an asset.
