What You’ll Be Doing
As an
Electrician Apprentice (2nd –4th Year), you’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting electrical systems in commercial buildings to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
Your Day-to-day Will Include
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance on lighting systems, panels, breakers, and emergency systems.
- Assisting with electrical inspections and ensuring work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Coordinating with other trades and operational teams for seamless service delivery.
- Responding promptly to service calls and assisting with electrical-related emergencies as required.
What You Bring To The Team
- Registered 2nd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice with a strong desire to continue developing skills and growing with the team.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a commercial or facilities-based electrical role.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Solid understanding of electrical codes (CEC), electrical systems, and safety procedures.
- Proficient in the use of electrical tools, testing instruments, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces, as required.
Assets
- Experience working in commercial real estate environments.
- Additional training in building automation or energy management systems.
