Located in Longueuil, on the South Shore of Montreal, this plant is not only the centre par excellence of the largest players in the aerospace industry for landing gear repair and maintenance, but also the plant that is recognized for the manufacture of the famous legs of the Apollo 11 lunar module.

Main responsibilities
- Participation in the maintenance of ERP configuration data (Minimum Order Quantity, Lead Time, Price, etc.)
- Modification of contractual Purchase Order (PO) elements, followed by exchange and confirmation with suppliers.
- Familiarization with the PO Placement, PO Management, and Escalation processes.
- Participation in team meetings (operational meetings and departmental improvement meetings).
- Communication, calls, and negotiations with suppliers under supervision until the relationship with the supplier is fully established.
In addition to daily activities, a parallel project will be assigned. An improvement-type project:
- Creation of decision-making tools,
- Creation and implementation of procedures or functions to improve efficiency,
- Participation in the plant improvement committee on projects functionally related to purchasing.
Note: The internship supervisor will ensure comprehensive training and experience, both on the tools and on the industrial context of aeronautics and landing gear (several factory visits are planned).
