Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving growth by developing and executing marketing strategies that attract new members, strengthen engagement among current members, and support Vancity’s product teams across a variety of channels. You’ll apply critical thinking, creativity, and a data-driven approach to deliver impactful campaigns that align with Vancity’s values and member needs. Success in this role means leveraging insights, optimizing key marketing journeys, and working collaboratively to ensure our brand is strongly represented across every touchpoint.
This is a Full-time, Temporary role based at the Vancity head office and will report directly to the Marketing Manager – Deposits and Alternate Income. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Partnering with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to develop marketing strategies that drive growth and member engagement
- Using data-driven insights to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across lifecycle journeys, organic social media, paid media, events, and face-to-face channels
- Leveraging customer and product insights to refine target markets and simplify value propositions
- Playing a key role in go‑to‑market planning, developing briefs, and supporting integrated campaign execution
- Managing multiple concurrent projects on-budget and within established timelines
- Working collaboratively with agency partners and internal teams to deliver marketing initiatives that achieve business objectives
- Monitoring campaign performance and recommending optimizations to improve acquisition and retention outcomes
- Working independently while also collaborating closely with your team and manager
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- University degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
- 4-5 years of professional marketing experience on either the agency or client side
- Proven experience managing marketing projects from planning through execution
- Strong analytical skills with experience in digital marketing performance measurement
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Clear communication skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable marketing plans

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $69,700 to $82,000 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
