Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading the company’s warehouse and logistics departments. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing our logistics and warehouse teams to identify best practices and improvements that will increase our reliability, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Your goal will be to establish an agile and synchronized supply chain operation.
This role is based in our Abbotsford location and this role is a fully onsite role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely, cost-effective and accurate fulfillment.
- Optimize logistics processes to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transit times.
- Work closely with Operations / Production to ensure required inventory levels are followed.
- Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, storage optimization, and workflow efficiency.
- Implement best practices for warehouse inventory management, including regular cycle counting and inventory audits.
- Develop and enforce procedures for efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
- Continuously analyze and improve logistics and warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement and maintain Lean practices, such as pull systems and Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory management.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure materials are available to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and control logistics and warehouse budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction in freight, storage, and inventory handling while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and warehouse operations.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory accuracy, freight costs, and delivery efficiency.
- Work closely with the procurement and operations teams to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.
- Be a Center of Excellence for best practices to other companies under the portfolio.

Management Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop logistic and warehouse professionals to build a high-performing team.
- Work with HR on workforce planning, recruitment, and employee relations issues.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of logistic and warehouse professionals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive employee development.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, quality, efficiency and safety.
- Identify and nurture future leaders within the team.
- Address employee concerns and foster a positive, inclusive workplace environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution or equivalent related experience.
- Five (5) years of experience as a leader of people in a manufacturing logistics and warehouse environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Broad experience in logistics and warehouse management, including forecasting, planning and KPI assessment.
- Ability to harness data, identify key shortfalls and tenaciously source hard to find or
- specialty items.
- Experience building and ramping up industrial products in a global supply chain.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
