Role Overview
The chosen candidate will serve as both account manager and project lead, overseeing the full lifecycle of language projects while strengthening and expanding client relationships. This role requires strong autonomy, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Project and Portfolio Management
• Manage client requests from intake to final delivery
• Analyze client requirements and propose value-added solutions
• Prepare, present, and negotiate quotations
• Plan resources, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate production workflows and oversee quality assurance
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and client satisfaction
Client Relations & Business Development
• Serve as primary strategic contact for assigned clients
• Build long-term, trust-based client relationships
• Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account growth
• Provide proactive follow-up and account management
• Contribute to portfolio expansion and revenue growth
Strategic Contribution
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives
• Recommend strategies to enhance profitability
• Contribute to overall company growth objectives
Candidate Profile
Core Requirements
• Fully bilingual (English and French, written and spoken)
• Experience in project management, ideally within language services
• Strong commercial acumen and business development skills
• High level of autonomy and sound decision-making ability
• Natural leadership and accountability
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Assets
• Account management experience
• Experience in the translation or language services industry
• Familiarity with TMS, CAT tools, or CRM systems
• Experience in an SME environment
• Proficiency in an additional language
