Position: Bakery plant supervisor
Wages: CAD$29.80-37.00/hour (depending on experience)
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30 40 hours/week
Benefits: 4 % of vacation pay, Extended health care
Job Duties:
• Identify and mitigate potential hazards at all stages of the bakery production process to ensure
compliance with health and safety standards
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of bakery production staff, and review their
performance to ensure operational efficiency and quality standards are met
• Recommend personnel actions, including recruitment, promotions, and role advancements, based
on performance evaluations and operational needs
• Train staff in job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure compliance,
efficiency, and a safe working environment
• Prepare production reports and related documentation to monitor output, track performance, and
support operational decision-making
• Recommend and implement measures to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and improve
overall product quality
• Establish effective methods to meet production schedules and coordinate work activities with other
departments to ensure seamless operations
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food or beverage processing industry are required
