We are currently recruiting a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals in Bathurst, NB.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative and coordination support to the Human Resources function and plays an important part in ensuring employees have a smooth onboarding experience and access to consistent HR support.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in building practical experience in Human Resources within a fast-paced operational environment.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees and ensure required documentation and training are completed
- Schedule and support employee orientation and training sessions
- Assist with payroll administration, including maintaining accurate employee information and supporting payroll changes
- Support employee benefits administration, including enrollments and updates
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in HR systems and files
- Assist with updating HR policies, procedures, and onboarding materials
- Serve as a first point of contact for routine HR-related questions from employees
- Provide administrative support for recruitment activities and employee documentation
- Support HR reporting and data tracking as required
Qualifications and key competencies:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of administrative or HR-related experience preferred
- Experience with HR systems or payroll platforms is considered an asset
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
- CPHR designation, or working toward CPHR, is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel periodically within the Maritime provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business systems
- Familiarity with emerging workplace technologies, including AI-enabled productivity tools, considered an asset

This is a full-time salaried position working onsite at our Head Office in Bathurst, NB. Business hours for Eddy Group locations are 7:00 am-5:00 pm Monday-Friday, but hours outside of these should be expected. The ability to travel to meetings, educational seminars and networking events is required. Annual base salary will be commensurate with your experience.
